Date Night at Gusto

Happy Friday Guys! I know I usually do my weekly Friday Blog segment but this week I thought I’d do something different since we’re so close to Valentines Day.

Last year me and the boyfriend had a romantic mini break in the country for Valentine’s Day which was just amazing. However, this year it’s a lot more difficult with our schedules to organise something similar (this year it’s literally be pizza on the couch probably…) So we decided we’d treat ourselves to an early pre Valentines Date Night to make up for it. I’d heard such amazing things about the Italian restaurant, Gusto and knew I would love it as its my favourite cuisine and the menu looked dreamy.

The food was truly exquisite and the service from the staff incredible. For starters, we shared dough petals and Foccacia Bread which was heavenly light yet sedictively tasty. I’ve never had anything like the dough petals before in my life! They were an experience!

For mains we both went for pizza. Jake going with a goats cheese and me going with my favourite fiorentina (gotta live for an egg on pizza) and we shared the not amazing truffle tries I’ve ever had!

Beverages were equally just as impressive though. Here’s a pic of my prosecco fizz! It was Devine!

If you guys are planning a meal out for Valentine’s this year seriously give Gusto a try! You won’t regret it! Happy Friday!
