What I Use for Dark Circles

I don’t know about you lot but I go through phases of having amazing sleep and hardly any sleep. At the moment I’m going through a ‘no sleep’ phase which although brilliant for my night owl writing style is playing absolute havoc on my under eye area. I don’t know if it’s with my unusual working pattern or my body going insane alls I know is that my dark circles have never been darker! At times like these, I’m desperate to try any new products which promise me instant results in getting rid of dark circles.

At the moment I’m trying a product by a brand called Skyn Iceland, it’s called Icelandic Relief Eye Cream and it’s meant to soothe tired and darkened eyes. I got a free sample with a Cult Beauty order recently and it really proved useful after my boyfriend accidentally woke us up over an hour earlier than we needed to be after a late night and my eyes looked like they belonged to Carrie or something!

On days like this I also use two concealers so there is NO WAY them dark circles are visible! Before applying my foundation I go in with my Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer, this is perfect as the wand applicator lets you apply this product in the precise areas you need it. After that, I do my foundation as normal and then go in with my other concealer, this is the Estée Lauder Doublewear Cobcealer. This comes in a pot so I tend to dab my middle or ring finger with the product and then just gently dab it on my under eye area once again. After this I use my powder, bronzer and blusher as normal and then finish off by doing my brows and mascara.

And there go! That’s how I make myself look slightly more human in the mornings after a late night and super early morning!
