Don’t you just love it when you pop into Boots for like one thing and end up leaving with a zillion other things! Well that’s what happened to me this weekend, and as much as I love getting new products to try out my poor bank balance really doesn’t. These products are both a mixture of things I needed and stuff I saw and just had to buy. Anyway I thought I’d share my purchases with you lot!
My poor hands suffer terribly every Autumn and Winter so I thought this year I’d beat the weather to it and start using hand cream before they end up cracked and sore. I saw this hand cream and instantly knew I had to try it. It came highly recommended as a CEW Beauty Award Finalist in 2015 and claims to give users deep and lasting hydration along with dramatic visible textural improvements to the skin in ten days. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see…
Now this was definitely something I needed, as I’m literally down the last drops of my old bottle. I usually purchase the smaller bottle but decided to go for a bigger one this time around to see if it lasts longer.
Again, this product was a must buy as I have hardly any shower gel left. I love the Radox shower gels and find all their scents to just smell incredible. With the changing of the seasons I decided to go for a fresh and awakening scent as all those vanilla and flowery ones do nothing to wake me up of a morning!
I will admit this was a cheeky purchase as I do actually have so many lip balms already. However, I saw this limited edition Lulu Guinness tub and I had to have it. I love how cheeky and flirty Lulu Guinness designs are and I know I’ll be using this Vaseline loads in the colder months.
In terms of blusher, I hardly ever purchase new ones but with the change of seasons I know I can no longer get away with my old Benefit Hervana anymore so when I saw my favourite high street make up brand Rimmel had brought out a cream blush pot I decided to give it a try. I’ve never used a cream blusher on myself before so I’m excited to give it a go, I bought it in a shade dark coral shade as pink blusher a do nothing for my skin and I think a darker shade blusher is more suitable for the darker months ahead.
I haven’t painted my nails in a very long time as I usually prefer to get shellac manicures and pedicures. However, since me and the boyfriend are both trying to save some money for our house renovation I’ve decided it’s time I started to paint my own nails. I purchased two, one in a gorgeous light blue shade called pillow talk and the other is just a plain black called black out. I love black nails so that was a purchase that was going to happen eventually and the I got the light blue one as I just think it’s a very flattering colour. It’s so light it’s almost a sparkly white which remind me of Christmas and who doesn’t love Christmas?!
And there you go! My mini Boots Autumn Haul, I know not all of the items are exciting (seriously, how can you make buying shower gel exciting?) but I hope it’s given you guys an idea of what I’m loving and using for my skin and face during the next couple of months!
