Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick: A Review

I’m a huge Charlotte Tilbury lover, ever since I discovered the Magic Foundation so so long ago (I’m a shade 3 in case you were wondering…) I love everything the CT brand stands for as it’s all about enhancing your natural beauty. It’s a fantastically positive look at beauty and doesn’t shame women into buying make up because they feel they need a certain product to look like Kendall Jenner or Gigi Hadid.

So naturally when our Charl released some sexy new lipsticks to match her celebrity clientele I just knew I’d be purchasing a few.

The Hot Lips Collection of Lipsticks come in 12 shades, and let me tel you the different shades are gorgeous. They’re all named after different celebrities whose lips match the shade. For example, the Kim Kardashian West lipstick is a very nudey yet tan shade whereas the Kate Bosworth lipstick is very pinky.

When I discovered the Cindy Crawford shade, I fell instantly in love. It’s a gorgeous nudey/ mocha colour which practically matched my natural lips yet made it pop atthe exact same time.

Firstly, let me tell you guys about the pro’s; the packaging- its glamorous and appealing on the eye and the little lips shape which is imprinted onto the packaging, genius!

The lipstick also smells incredible and applies really easily on leaving you with beautiful luscious lips that are as kissable as Cindy Crawford’s.

Now onto the negative’s; durability, unfortunately it seems this lipstick for all its amazingness just doesn’t go any distance which considering it’s cost is just ridiculous!

I absolutely love the shades, the packaging and the feel of this lipstick but it’s so unpractical when you need to reapply like seven times a day!

I swear next time I want a long lasting lipstick I’m sticking with MAC  now that’s a lipstick that sticks!
