My Holiday Skin Prep!

So since I am going on holiday in a few days (yay!) I thought I’d give you lot a little sneak peak into my pre holiday routine which I do in the comfort of my own home and without the pain or embarrassment of a bikini wax (we’ve all been there girls….)

I usually do this routine the night before as I’m usually too stressed the morning we’re travelling. For me, the most important thing in holiday prep is skin! As long as my skin is up to scratch and ready for some serious tanning then I’m happy!

To start off I usually run a nice and relaxing bath, this helps relax my body and get me into that holiday mode (believe me, this is important when I’m flapping about the next day).

In the bath that’s where I usually end up shaving my legs. I find this so much easier than doing it standing up in the shower so I only end up doing it before a holiday. After a good soaking, I exofoliate. For this I tend to just use a Boots own brand tea tree & witch hazel Body Scrub. I use this one as it contains an anti bacterial ingredients which help tackle spots and keep skin clear, I find this really important on holiday as usually skin ends up feeling really sweaty and gross in the heat. The main places I exfoliate are my back, my legs and my bum and I just runs shower and rub off with a cheap exofoliating glove from again, Boots.

In terms of my err lady area (bikini area) I use a hair removal cream which can keep my bikini area bikini perfect for the length of the holiday. I tend to use whatever I can find at the last minute which at the moment is Nair Moisturising Hair Removal Cream.

After this I finish off by making my skin baby soft and lathering myself with Johnson’s Baby Oil as soon as I get out of the shower and then after leaving it on for a few minutes and dab it off with a nice fluffy towel.

And there you go! Holiday perfect skin fit for the beach!
