So this week has been an interesting one! In terms of eating and exercise and it’s about to get a whole lot more interesting this weekend!
Food and Fitness
So after starting the week off with a few glasses of prosecco (my bad) I really got stuck into healthy and clean eating. This week I’ve really got into my healthy snacks. Me and the Quest Protein bars are having a love hate relationship, whilst I really enjoy the Bounce Energy Balls. I picked up some at my local Holland and Barrett to give them a try and although the results are mixed, I will finitely be purchasing more soon.
This week I’ve also got back to having my favourite breakfast of Avocado and Poached Egg on Toast. I swear nothing beats this bad boy! Although I do admit I have developed a love for porridge made with almond milk and mixed with some Pip & Nut nut butter (God! That stuff tastes incredible)
I also found myself experimenting with different textures at tea time. This week has seen the resurgence of the courgette spaghetti! Also, I tried cauliflower rice last night which was actually pretty damn tasty!
In terms of exercise, I’ve started mixing up my weight training by doing boxercise classes again to add a bit more cardio into my routine (as much as I do miss the cross trainer) This week I actually got my boyfriend to come along with me! Which was fun because he was absolutely ruined!
Fashion and Beauty
This week I purchased quite a few pieces for my holiday wardrobe (yay!) but I’m not gonna show you guys until I do my holiday wardrobe blog (sorry!) Asides from that it’s been the boring work wardrobe and the gym gear (I know, pretty boring in the fashion section, sorry!)
In terms of my beauty regime, I’ve recently fell back in love with serums and how amazing they make my skin feel! Particularly, the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, wowser this product is a gem! But this weekend I’m off camping with the boyfriend and his lot, so it’ll be a very minimal look on the beauty front (groan) don’t worry I’m doing a whole blog post on my camping beauty essentials for you guys!
