Product Review: L’Oreal Miss Hippie Mascara

So as a beauty junkie, whenever I see a new product o the market I always jump straight into purchasing and testing, with mascara its no different.

After being an avid user of the Maybelline Lash Sensational for a good couple of months now, I decided I needed something new. I was tempted to go back into my teen years and repurchase the L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara as it worked so well in the past. However, when I saw this new product on the stand my attention was quickly diverted. The  L’Oreal Mega Volume Miss Hippie Mascara is said to coat your lashes, layer by layer into an almost feathery lash effect. As a girl who adores the long, curly and thick look when it comes to my lashes I knew I needed to try this product out.

The brush is thick and fuzzy so it instantly thickens the appearance so your lashes, however unless your blessed with the most curly lashes in the world you will seriously need to curl them bad boys before and after application if you even wanna see some feathery effect. I also had to apply two coats, wait for it to dry then apply to costs more to even get a hint of a feathery appearance. All in all, its a good value for money mascara but if you really wanna see them featheryfestival vibe lashes, purchase some falsies!

  1. My go-to mascara is Perversion by Urban Decay; it’s such amazing quality and I think it’s totally worth the money! This one looks lovely too though, I might give it a look in Boots 🙂
