Fitness Trend For The Summer: Mountain Walking

Well hello there! So as its summer and everyone’s worrying about getting beach body right I thought I’d change things up and do a little summer fitness blog. 

My boyfriend happens to be a huge outdoors guy, seriously that shit is his crack! Nothing makes him happier than being in the fresh air and walking up some mountains. 


I decided to join him to try and see what all the fuss was about. Nevertheless, as a self confessed gym addict I was a hard nut to crack. We headed to Abergavenny and decided to walk up Sugarloaf. After what what felt like the longest climb ever we finally reached the top and I was in awe of the amazing views Abergavenny had to offer. 



In terms of a workout alternative to the gym I must admit I wasn’t that impressed as fantastic as it was for then leg muscles I wasn’t left feeling as satisfied as I was after a gym session. I really did enjoy being outdoors though, and bizarrely enough I even ended up getting insane sunburn!
