My Chilled Sunday Routine

Sunday’s are a strange thing, it’s that day where you still have the weekend highs yet as soon as it gets to around 5 the Panic of Monday kicks in and we’re all suddenly super sad!

Anyway here’s my chilled Sunday routine which usually only happens once in a blue moon these days!

Usually after a glorious lye in bed, I get up and head to the gym for a hour of resistance training. Nothing too strenuous, it is a Sunday after all! After getting in yesterday, I got showered and made myself a feel good breakfast of Doughnut French Toast with yoghurt and berries. At the weekend I like to test myself to a nice brekky as I tend to eat quite healthy during the week. French toast is perfect Sunday food and it tasted even better because I ate whilst I catched up on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, bliss!

The afternoon is usually filled with occasional naps and telly but yesterday was even better as Jakes mum made carrot cake for us to all tuck into it and it was delicious! Jake then made some Blsckberry Jam and let me lick the spoon afterward, I was as content as a pig in s**t!

After eating the endless baked goods, Jake and I took a little walk up to the local shop. I realised I had no reading material for my train journey to Liverpool so decided to stock up on some Women’s Fitness and Cosmopolitan for the train home.

Of course I did end up having a few cheeky glances when we got back in.

The night was topped with a tremendous roast dinner that Jake’s mum had made us all, not going to lie to you all I did end up having seconds because it was just that good!

Oh the carbs! The carbs!

To finish the night off me and Jake got into bed and watched the latest episode of our current fave tv show, Versailles.

It’s absolutely fantastic, full of drama, tension, action and the occasional naughty scene for which I shield Jakes eyes from! Plus, I swear it’s just as gory as Game of Thrones. If you don’t believe me, tune in and find out!

Anyway that’s my chilled Sunday routine, hope you like it!
