A Kiehl’s Spree

In Birmingham recently I popped into Kiehl’s to look for a new toner and walked out with a teeny bit more!

I’d heard nothing but good things about the Ultra Facial Toner so couldn’t wait to try it out. I usually apply it with a cotton pad and dab it into my skin for a couple of seconds. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and balanced without taking away the smooth feeling of my cleanser. At £15 it’s a quality product without breaking the bank.

Whilst there I also found my attention being drawn to the hair products. Now, I must admit I’m a huge fan of using oils in your hair. I think they’re a brilliant way of keeping locks hydrated yet tamed. However, my hair is in a whole other league when it comes to oil and I never seem to get the balance right between hydrated looking hair and a greasy mess on top of my head. When I saw these shampoo’s and conditioner mini’s I just had to pick some up. The Amino Acid Shampoo is perfect for cleansing my locks, whilst the Damage Repairing and Rehydrating Conditioner smoothes and hydrates. I seem to finally be on to a winner with a haircare products!

I must admit one things that I really liked at this particular Kiehl’s shop was the amazing customer service I received. They asked at the counter if i was interested in anything else and I asked about the Ultra Light Daily UV Defense, after which they gave me a free sample to try before I buy!

I also got a sample of the Midnight Recovery Oil as I’d heard good things about the product and I’ve recently really got into my nighttime skincare routine. Hey, I’m 22, need to start keeping wrinkles at bay!

I haven’t actually used my samples yet but they smell amazing so here’s hoping!
