Hold the Phone, Charlotte Tilbury is in Liverpool!

Huge News for any Charlotte Tilbury fans out there.

She’s set up home in Liverpool!

As a proclaimed Scouse Girl, me and the Tilz go way back. Ever since I was introduced to her Filmstar Glow Palette its been true love.

Of course, our relationship has had its challenges with me having to go to Birmingham or order online every time I wanted to make a new purchase. However, as I’ve been spending a lot more time in Liverpool recently and on a shopping trip to John Lewis I noticed in the corner of my eye the famous gold interior Charl is known for having a thing for.

I couldn’t resist the little jump of happiness my body decided to make and before you knew it I was being pulled in the direction of the Tilbury.

The layout is pretty identical to the booth in Birmingham’s Selfridges with the exception of the staff. The staff are all Scousers (from Liverpool) meaning customers get the best of both worlds, the expertise of Charlotte Tilbury and the incredible warmth and humour of the Liverpool’s people. For some reason to me the booth seemed a bit bigger than any of the others I’ve been to but maybe that’s because there’s just no place like home!

Upon inspection I got chatting to one of the lovely Make Up Artists, one thing led to another and before you know it I was trying on some new products.

I made two new purchases whilst there and repurchased a new sculpting brush for my contouring because I was in serious need of a new one.

I love Charlottes’s powder and sculpt brush for contouring as it has the perfect fibres for Subtle contouring, giving you that chiselled cheek bone finish.

My other purchase was the Miracle Eye Wand. I’d heard nothing but good things about this product so when the Make Up Artist recommended the wand I was keen to try it. The wand works as a treatment as well as a cover up for dark circles and I must admit it’s awesome! On one end there is a sort of serum which you gently dab under the eyes and then on the other end is the concealer which you dab on top. The serum works like an eye cream which is brilliant because I’m a huge believer in having different creams for your eyes and face (the skin under your eyes is so much more delicate then the rest of your face) and the fact that imrhis is a multi tasking product is perfect for me when I have no time to get ready in the mornings. I’ve  been using it for a couple of days now and can already notice how much my puffiness has reduced.

Anyways that sums up my experience at the new Charlotte Tilbury counter in Liverpool and let me tell you it won’t be my last.

RIP bank balance 😦
