The February Luxe List

Is it really the end of February already?! I can’t believe how quickly this month has gone especially with everything that’s happened this month already. It’s been completely crazy with me starting the new job and travelling.

In terms of beauty products I’m loving it’s been pretty basic this month as work has been crazy. It’s pretty much been the necessities I need through the day.

As my make up has been quite minimal and so my concealer has become my best friend and my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla. This concealer is brilliant for covering up my dark circles thanks to its radiance boosting formula whilst the creamy texture leaves the skin looking natural.

If I have enough time to make a bit more of an effort than I’ll pop a bit of colour onto my lips. I tend to go for a soft brownish red colour on as its pretty fair match for my natural lip colour. My absolute fave is the MAC Studio Fix Lipstick in Mocha, the shade is a dreamy brown tone of red and feels as soft as silk when applied directly to the lips.

After going through a high of using mix between Chanel and MAC brushes, I’ve gone back over to the Real Techniques brushes and I must admit my purse is feeling a lot heavier than before!

These brushes are also made of synthetic fibres meaning they don’t soak up all of my products which some natural fibre brushes that I have used in the past do.

To take all this make up off at the end of the day I either use my micellar water or wipes. However, these days when I’ve come in from work and feel so tired I pretty much just reach for the nearest face wipe. My absolute favourite are the Simple cleansing facial wipes these bad boys are brilliant at taking all my make up off even eye make up which can sometimes be a bitch! I’m also a lover of the groovy design on the packet which really brightens up my toiletries.

One product that I’ve got multiple use out of this month is my Simple Mousturiser. It’s been both my face mousturiser and my hands one as the change in climate and seasons mean my hands turn into sandpaper. I didn’t have anytime to pop into the shops this week and grab some hand cream and so my face Mousturiser was glued to my hands all week. Surprisingly, it was a very good replacement hand cream and the hydrating formula left my hands feeling rather nourished. So instead of wasting money on a new hand cream this year, give your mousturiser a try!

My last beauty favourite this year is the perfume Narcismo Rodrigez for her it’s a musky, sexy scent which is perfect for a date night. I don’t really wear it for the day to day but if you’re looking for a sensual treat on the old smell senses, look no further.

My last item that I’m loving this month is my brand new Hi Top Converse. I’ve freaking loved converse since I was about thirteen and I still get excited when I see a new pair out. This month as the weather has been slightly less wet I’ve been braving the pavements and praying it doesn’t lash it down. I just think Converse are the perfect shoes for a relaxed and casual look in the spring, of course the big plus is that they’re so darn comfy!

And that’s my February Luxe Lust for this month! I know it’s quite short but for me this month has been so hcric it’s been a case of beauty essentials and comfort!

Here’s hoping next months list will be a lot more luxurious!
