The Friday Blog!

Well hello there and welcome to the another edition of the Friday Blog!

I hope you’ve all had a fantastic week that was full of joy, I personally have been a very busy bunny this week!

On Monday I met up with a uni friend and had a little catch up over lunch and a naughty shopping session (it was naughty because it was underwear). We went to the Italian chain restaurant Pizza Express which is quite popular in the UK for its incredibly tasty dough balls. Of course, in true Chelsea style I went all out and even devoured dessert! I did choose the healthy option for mains though so you gotta give me thumbs up for trying!

On the Tuesday I pretty much had a morning on my laptop and then went the gym. In the evening I met up with some old work mates for some food and a few drinks. We started the night in Missoula and ordered these teapot cocktails and they were so cute! Lucky for us it was buy one get one free so manged to bag two of em! Love a good cocktail, me.

Next we headed to The Grazing Shed for burgers and Fries because we were all starving and yep I know I ate their Saturday, but this a different one! (Like seriously I didn’t know Cardiff had two, oops) This time I ordered the Super Tidy burger and let me tell you guys I was NOT tidy after eating this bad boy, SO GOOD!

One of my mates had to leave early but me and another stayed out and went for a few more drinks. We ended up in this student cocktail bar called Ten Feet Tall and received the most amazing customer service by the two bar men. They made up drinks for us on the spot and watching them make it for us was like getting a free show! It was brilliant, I’d happily recommend this place to anyone who fancies a few chilled cocktails in Cardiff.

After having a few we called it a night around midnight (well it was a school night!)

For the rest of the week I was pretty much stuck to my laptop and running errands in town (my phone is finally fixed, YAY) Today however is a busy one, I have a job interview in Bristol and then I’m travelling to Birmingham straight after. I’m meeting up with one of my best friends and we’re having a little catch up/spa and shopping sesh. So excited!

Attempts to be fitter

Okay so on the Monday I did circuits for the first time….OH MY WORD! It was the most painful hour of my life and I was bright red afterward and could barely walk. Then after that I did my normal Legs, Bums and Tums class and I could barely keep up. Needless to say next time I’ll stick to one class a day…

Wednesday I went boxing but Thursday was a bit of a gym fail with me being busy with errands and writing. Today however I did manage to fit in a quick half an hour routine so that’s gotta count for something right?

Attempts to be healthier

I will say with all the meals out I’ve had this week this section ain’t looking too promising. However, I did make a healthy chilli on Wednesday night with the boyfriend which tasted amazing and was from Women’s Health Magazine. I might even do a blogpost on it, it was that good. So stay tuned!

Beauty products I’m loving

Must admit I’ve only really tried one product this week and the other is an old fave.

Bobbi Brown Eyebrow Mascara is without a doubt the only product I’ve using on my brows all week it’s perfect for creating natural and strong brows and also doesn’t leave residue or any crumple on the brows. Definitely my favourite brow product so far.

I’ve also tried the Clinique Take the Day Off Balm this week after having a heavily made up face on for two days straight. The only words I can use to describe this product are facial in a tub. It’s very balmy feeling which is weird to me but after you add water it goes into a lather formula which is perfect for cleansing your face. It left mine feeling hydrated and smooth.

Anyway that’s it for this week, I’m now off to Birmingham for a relaxing and make up filled weekend! I hope you all have a lovely weekend and I’ll be back on Monday to share with you all again!
