Starry Eyes, No Surprise!

Oh the make up goodness!

It comes as no surprise to you all now that I love a glowy fresh skin look but what did I also mention I loves a bit of a starry eye aswell?

Since I was going to dinner and drinks with a few friends on Tuesday Night I decided to sparkle up my make up look (quite literally). I opted for a shimmery almost purple tone on the eyes with some black cat eyes to finish it off, what can I say I was feeling adventurous!

Of course, before we get to the exciting eyes part I thought Id just briefly mention what else I wore on my face. To start off i used my good ole’ Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation just to give some glow to my gym drained face and then i used a ton of MAC studio fix concealer to get rid of those pesky blemishes and breakouts and just blended it in with a MAC 216 brush.

Before I powdered I went in with the Benefit girl meets pearl liquid pearl just to enhance my what the foundation had already done, which was make me look alive! For powder i used my same old MAC studio fix powder just to try and keep my make up on for as long as possible and then I filled in my brows with the Bobbi Brown Eyebrow Mascara but stupidly I forgot to include it into the above picture to give you guys an idea of what it looks like! I’m pretty sure its sold instore and online at Selfridges, Debenhams and John Lewis though.

After this I just contoured a little with my Benefit Hoola Bronzer and then gave my cheeks some colour with the Benefit Hervana blush (sorry for all the Benefit products guys, I really into them at the moment!)

For my eyeshadow I weirdly came across an old Revolution eye shadow palette in one of my make up bags and just feel in love with the shimmery kinda light purple shade and decided it had to be put on my eyes! I just applied it with my index finger it gentle strokes and then blended it into the crease and outer corner of my eye with the MAC 216 brush (I swear this brush is soooo versatile). To make it a little bolder and painstakingly (I mean painstakingly) applied some eyeliner to my top lid with the Maxfactor Waterproof Eyeliner Pen. Not going to lie, it has been soooo long since I applied eyeliner to my top lid so it took me ages to get it just right, and even then I was still critical. To finish off I just whacked on some Maybelline lash Sensational Mascara and a nude lipstick from lo’real.
