Everyday Make-Up For The Office

Okay, so it seems lately everyone has gone crazy for bold and contoured make up looks right? Me myself personally I can’t help but notice how amazingly chiselled my face looks after a bit of the contour and highlight. It’s literally like, Yo Edward Cullen eat your heart out (aww anyone remember him?!).

However, in day to day life it’s probably not too realistic to have big bold eyebrows, smokey eyes and all that other shiz when having to also go to a 9-5 desk job or anything similar. I mean if your a Make-Up Artist or work in the Make-Up Industry, that’s a completely different ball game. By all means please go as extreme as you like. But for the rest of us, there is only so far we can go without Tom from HR taking the mickey.

I’ve recently been doing some work experience in an office and realised that certain ways I like to do my Make-Up (my glam Scouse brows) probably aren’t that suitable when working in an office (gulp, hold back tears). Actually in all truth I did spend loads of time trying to perfect the perfect subtle Scouse brow but in the end it was a lost cause.

However, a dewy, fresh faced complexion is always office perfect. To get mine I used moisturiser and then applied my favourite foundation of all time, Chanel vitalumiere Aqua in the shade 30 beige.

This foundation is perfect for creating the dewy skin and in my opinion it also doesn’t clog your pores leaving you instead with soft and perfect skin. To conceal those awful dark circles under my eyes from one to many uni nights out I use Estée Lauder double wear concealer. Now, I’m not just saying this but this concealer is AMAZING I mean it can conceal tattoo’s its that good.

To create the everyday glow I apply a tiny amount of bronzer onto the corners of my cheeks and swish it up to my temples. To finish I use the smallest of small amounts of rose tinted blushe just to carry on the dewy effect. If it summertime I would apply some golden eyeshadow in the corners of my eyes and maybe use my finger once over the lid. I put nothing on my brows. Sadly 😦 Like I said it’s all about minimalism when it comes to the smart and sassy office look.

Nevertheless, the best thing about this lol is go long is takes….an amazing eight minutes! That’s under ten minutes! WIN!

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed my office make up look. I’m actually considering an office wardrobe inspired blog aswell. So look out for that later on in the week. Now only if I can find my way to this damn office! Oops….

Lots of love,

Chelsea x
