The Autumn Make Up Look

As you are probably already aware, as a scouser we love a good ole’ strong brow and this autumns make-up look proved no different. With this in mind however I do tend to keep my make up to a purely minimalist feel just to let my brows do all the talkin’. In keeping with the trend of warm and sensual colours a dash of red on the lips is just what the doctor ordered to make the perfect face for the fall. I used Rimmels Kate Moss lasting finish lipstick the shade  107 to get the perfect autumn red.

The colour is both a mixture of  intense and sensual tones of red which is what makes this shade extra appealing for the colder more chilly months of the year.

I paired the luscious lips with a fresh faced, porcelain finish on the skin thanks to my trusty MAC studio finish foundation and powder. A Splash of highlighter was applied in areas the sun would naturally shine on, for that I just used my trusted bourgois bronzing powder and highlighting duo. However,  I only applied the tiniest amount of bronzer on the temples and cheekbones because I didn’t want to take away from the porcelain finish on my skin.

All in all this look probably only took about ten minutes which is why it’s perfect for your general day to day. Of course, if you’re feeling a little shy about the red lip, MAC have a gorgeous more subtle lip shade called mocha which works just as well!

Lots of Love,
